Danny Kent - President

OnTrack Sales was established in 2012 by Danny Kent, a seasoned industry veteran. Danny started his career in the music industry in 1984 when he began working at Guitar Center Hollywood, the nations’s largest music retailer. A year later, Danny relocated to Ohio and began working at Akron Music Center, focusing his efforts on Keyboards and Pro-Audio sales. While there, he was approached by a local rep firm and was hired as a Sales Rep for the Mid-Atlantic and Ohio Valley markets. In late 1986, Danny was hired by Korg USA as District Sales Manager for the Midwest Territory, where he was awarded the President’s Cup for Salesman of the Year for 1987-88. Danny saw yet another opportunity in the Fall of 1988 and joined the Roland Corporation. While serving as District Sales Manager, he was awarded Boss Salesman of the Year Award, Roland’s Superior Performance Award (over half a dozen times), Roland’s “301 Incentive Awards” (2 times), and served on Guitar Center’s Technical Advisory Board from 1995-1997. Danny has established long and trusting relationships with all of his dealers in the Midwest Territory. He currently resides with his wonderful family in the Greater Chicago-land area.
